For the past three decades, Columbia county New York has been my home, and I have worked with folks all over the region to design, build, colorize, beautify, repair, and update their homes. 

With a passionate interest in nature, science, human and animal health, (and music) I have also extensively exercised my training as an educator, writer, and journalist in a wide variety of North American magazines.

Over the course of the not-too-distant future, I will integrate the scads of journalism I have have produced, to make this site a helpful and fun resource.
